Sueyoon is a designer, technologist, researcher, and Ashtangi 🧘🏻‍♀️.

Born and raised in Korea, with high school years in Beijing and now based in Amsterdam, her multicultural experiences have shaped a deep understanding of human perspectives, culture, and art—sharpening her keen eye for design. She is fluent in Korean, English, and Chinese, with limited skills in French and Dutch 🇰🇷🇺🇸🇨🇳🇫🇷🇳🇱.

She holds a BSc in Industrial Design from KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute for Science and Technology), graduating magna cum laude, and an MS in Design for Interaction from TU Delft (Delft University of Technology), where she was a full scholarship recipient (top 1%).

After her studies, she designed and researched human interactions in and around Virtual Reality at CWI (the Dutch National Research Institute for Mathematics and Computer Science) for several years. She also led human-centered design workshops and gave talks at companies, schools, and events across 10+ countries, working with participants from over 15 nationalities. Her combined expertise in design and technology added value to her teams.

Since September 2024, she has temporarily returned to TU Delft to assist in running a VR prototyping course, supporting students through brainstorming workshops and applying her expertise in VR and facilitation.
